The Future

Britxbox's front page is currently going through a refresh and we'll be launching a series of new features which intend to increase ease of navigation, introduce corporate advertising solutions and improve many of the features that have proven to be popular. The refresh will include the following features:

• News Archive system
• Fully integrated advert system, providing stats and reports on various advert locations.
• Context sensitive adverts
• More Front Page/forum integration, such as automatically created news discussion threads.
• Improved screenshot viewer.
• RSS feeds for news, reviews, columns, videos and even forums.
• News Alerts, users can highlight games they would like to be kept up to date with and when new news related to their games they will be e-mailed to let them know.
• Improved video download section, offering HD videos in various formats Gamespaces to include a user feedback section
• Xbox Live DLC content library
• Improved Tagbase, with clan support and ladder making

BXB intends to hold more of our popular LAN events in 2006 with plans to bring two events to two different locations in the UK aimed at two difference audiences with full support from publishers and other community websites.

BXB will also be exploring the viability of non-gaming related Community days aimed at strengthening community ties within BXB and across the wider Xbox Community to take place in 2006.

Also, thanks to being added to the Xbox Developers Program, we'll be offering a number of services based around the gamercard feeds we've been given access to. These new services will be launching in the near future.
